Jeremy Clarkson reveals one of his ‘scariest’ experiences
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed what one of the “scariest” experiences in his life was.
The TV star is well known for his appearances on motoring shows, including the BBC’s Top Gear and The Grand Tour on Prime Video.
Both programmes saw him present alongside Richard Hammond and James May in a presenting trio which lasted for over two decades.
This culminated in The Grand Tour: One For The Road in 2024, which saw the group travel to Zimbabwe and Botswana in Africa.
Over the years, Mr Clarkson has travelled far and wide, taking part in stunts, drives and other daring feats.
The 65-year-old now lives in Oxfordshire, where he owns Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington and The Farmer’s Dog in Asthall, near Burford.
Reflecting on his experience, Mr Calrkson recently revealed an experience which he believes to be one of the “scariest” in his life.
One fan on the social media website X tagged the star and said: “Jeremy, just watching your documentary on ‘Great Britons’ from a good few years ago.
“It’s excellent, and Brunel should have won.
“You had some b**ls to get into that basket over the Avon Gorge. F*** that!”
Mr Clarkson responded: “It’s genuinely one of the scariest things I ever did.”
The 65-year-old is currently filming series five of Clarkson’s Farm, which is based in Oxfordshire with new episodes expected to be released in 2026.
