Clarkson has gone online to refute claims about where he used to live.

Jeremy Clarkson has refuted claims that he used to live in a house up north, despite several reports.

The 65-year-old has recently been seen on our screens presenting the acclaimed fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm.

Set during last year, we saw Clarkson and co battle the elements and more to get his newly christened pub, The Farmer’s Dog, open.

But now, Clarkson has gone online to refute claims about where he used to live.

Rightmove posted on Facebook: “Famous home alert! Ever wondered where Jeremy Clarkson grew up?

“This charming countryside home was once the childhood home of the Top Gear and Clarkson’s Farm legend himself! 5 bedrooms, Tickhill.

A fan then posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Fancy moving back up north???”

To which Clarkson responded: “Keep reading about that. Never lived there.”

People in the comments then started trying to guess where Clarkson is in fact from.

One said: “Didn’t you live at Hill House School, Doncaster, during your education? That’s North.”

Another commented (rather obscurely): “I thought you were a Tickhill lad like us Jezza. The Carps, The Travs, The Scarbs and The Oak need your Hawkstone”.

Someone else replied: “Thought it was more Burghwallis area??”

Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, on 11 April 1960.

At the age of 13, he moved to Derbyshire. After that, we’re not too sure and don’t want to risk the wrath of Mr Clarkson anymore.

All we can say for sure is that now, famously, he resides in Oxfordshire. Where he tends to his beloved Diddly Squat Farm daily.
