JEREMY CLARKSON UNVEILS NEW BEARD AT COTSWOLDS PUB
ATHAL, OXFORDSHIRE – Jeremy Clarkson is once again making headlines, but this time it’s not for his farming mishaps, fiery debates, or pub renovations. It’s for his brand-new look: a beard.
The 65-year-old Clarkson’s Farm star was spotted at his Cotswolds pub, The Farmer’s Dog, sporting fresh facial hair while unveiling a new lineup of British wines to customers and fans.
FROM TRACTORS TO TAVERNS
Clarkson bought the Windmill Pub in Athal, near Burford, last year for around £1 million. After extensive renovations, he opened the doors in August 2024 — earlier than expected. The pub quickly became a hotspot for locals and fans alike, serving Hawkstone beer and dishes made from British-grown produce.
Support for local farmers has become central to Clarkson’s image since his Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm. His latest move into pub ownership, and now British wine, feels like a natural continuation of his mission to champion homegrown food and drink.
“SORRY BRAD PITT, THIS IS BETTER”
In an Instagram video posted on August 15, Clarkson announced a new rosé selection at The Farmer’s Dog. Holding up a glass, he quipped in classic Clarkson style:
“We’ve got a new selection of wines at the Farmer’s Dog. All British. Every single one of them. And I’m not making this up — they are fantastic. This is my favorite. A pale rosé. And I’m sorry, Brad Pitt and all the other people in France making rosé. This is just better.”
His cheeky dig at Hollywood’s wine ventures delighted fans — but the wine wasn’t what caught everyone’s attention.
THE BEARD RETURNS
Viewers quickly noticed Clarkson’s new beard, marking another shift in his ever-evolving style. The TV star previously experimented with facial hair during the Covid pandemic, joking that “beards have always been for socialists, the mad, and the weak” — though he later admitted they had become more mainstream.
This latest version shows signs of a fuller beard coming in, sparking chatter online. Fans still recall Clarkson’s infamous confession that he once found leftover mayonnaise tangled in his beard after a pub meeting with his farm manager.
CLARKSON KEEPS FANS GUESSING
Between running Diddly Squat Farm, starring in Clarkson’s Farm, and launching The Farmer’s Dog, Clarkson has kept himself at the center of rural life and controversy. With his new beard and his latest foray into wine, the outspoken presenter once again proves he knows how to keep both fans and critics talking.
