Kaleb Cooper Eyes Farm Ownership: A New Rival to Clarkson’s Farming Legacy?
Kaleb Cooper, the 27-year-old farmhand from Chipping Norton, has shared an exciting glimpse into his future plans, hinting at following in his former boss Jeremy Clarkson’s footsteps by purchasing his own farm in 2026. Known for his work on the hit Amazon Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm, which first aired in 2021, Cooper quickly became a fan favorite with his down-to-earth personality and natural farming expertise. Since the show’s debut, he has appeared in all three subsequent seasons, including the highly anticipated fourth season that aired in 2025.
Cooper, who has three children with his partner Taya, recently celebrated the birth of their son Ashton in September. The young farmer’s personal and professional life continues to evolve as he looks ahead to a busy year in 2026. In a recent Instagram post, Cooper revealed some of his goals for the upcoming year, including purchasing another tractor, writing a second book, and even narrating an animal show akin to the legendary David Attenborough. However, it was the somewhat tongue-in-cheek mention of “buy a farm?” midway down his list that piqued the interest of fans and raised speculation about his next big move.
This comes after Kaleb’s experiences working alongside Clarkson at Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire. Clarkson, who bought the farm in 2008, has since turned it into a thriving business and the centerpiece of his popular TV show. While their partnership on-screen has been a major draw for Clarkson’s Farm fans, Kaleb revealed in an interview with BBC Radio Oxford’s Adam Dowling that he has been taking some time away from the farm recently, especially after his trip to Australia. During the interview, when asked about how Clarkson was faring, Cooper joked that he’s been intentionally avoiding the 65-year-old presenter on the farm.
“I try and avoid him on the farm these days,” Kaleb laughed, adding a touch of humor to the conversation. However, he quickly reassured fans that all was well at Diddly Squat Farm, with Clarkson doing fine and things going smoothly despite the recent heavy rains. Cooper also mentioned his upcoming series, set to release next year on Prime Video, which has created a buzz among fans eager to see what new adventures he will embark on next.
Kaleb’s desire to buy a farm is a significant development in his own journey, and one that mirrors Clarkson’s own farming ambitions, which have captivated viewers over the years. Whether this is a step towards his own farming empire or just a fun aspiration remains to be seen, but it certainly sets the stage for an exciting 2026 for the young star. Fans will no doubt be keeping a close eye on Kaleb’s next steps, both on and off the farm.
