Kaleb Cooper issues new show update continents away from Clarkson’s Farm

Kaleb Cooper has shared an update from Australia as he films his new farming series away from Diddly Squat.

Kaleb Cooper has provided an update from Australia, following the announcement that he will be filming a new farming series for Prime Video.

The star of Clarkson’s Farm, who gained popularity assisting Jeremy Clarkson in running Diddly Squat Farm on the well-liked Oxfordshire-based programme, has now embarked on his own journey.

Kaleb: Down Under, which has been given the go-ahead for a four-part series, will track the farmer as he “embarks on his first solo trip to one of the world’s biggest farming markets”.

On Instagram, Kaleb shared a rather cheeky video on his story about a somewhat rude-sounding location in Queensland, Australia.

Speaking to the camera from his car with The Killers’ Mr Brightside playing in the background, Kaleb said: “Just driven through a place called Bald Knob…”

Suppressing a chuckle, he continued to inform his three million followers: “In Australia. Lovely place. It’s a mountain; no trees, nothing on the top.”

Bald Knob is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, with a reported population of fewer than 300 people, according to the 2021 census, reports the Express.

This latest location update from Kaleb comes after Prime Video announced last month that he would be leading his own show exploring farming ‘on a massive scale’.

The farming contractor, who admits to having a ‘borderline unhealthy obsession with Chipping Norton’, finds himself continents away from Diddly Squat in the forthcoming programme, which has commenced production.

He previously commented on the fresh venture, saying: “I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world, so I got brave and booked my first ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia here I come!

“And Australia, you’ll be gaining a new farmer for a couple of months as I discover if I can make my farming contracting business go international.”

Despite his fresh solo venture, Prime Video has confirmed Kaleb will continue to feature in Clarkson’s Farm series 5 next year.

Prime Video’s description for Kaleb: Down Under states: “With aspirations to grow his business, Kaleb will experience farming at a scale he’s never encountered before -stretching thousands of acres across Australia’s vast landscape.

“Throughout his journey, Kaleb will meet his Australian peers and immerse himself in the local culture while exploring how farmers operate in this challenging environment.

“Audiences will witness Kaleb tackling fresh challenges that are worlds apart from his familiar routines in Chipping Norton.

“And it’s no holiday-Kaleb won’t shy away from the gritty realities of farm work while he’s out there-blisters, burns, backaches and all.”
