Kaleb Cooper ‘panicking’ as Jeremy Clarkson makes huge Diddly Squat decision

Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has been reflecting in his business career as Diddly Squat continues to be a success and grab the attention of thousands of viewers

Jeremy Clarkson claimed Kaleb Cooper is panicking after he decided to host an event on Diddly Squat farm because Kaleb’s farming contemporaries will be judging his work.

Jeremy, 65, said that next year his farm would be hosting a farming trade event for farmers and that this was worrying Kaleb.

He told The Times: “We are hosting Cereals, which will be enormous. I’d never heard of it either, but it’s a trade [event] for 25,000, 30,000 farmers.

“It is usually in Cambridgeshire [it was actually held in Lincolnshire this year], and they go to a farm and they look at wheat and talk about fertiliser. It’s coming to Diddly Squat next year.

“Kaleb is panicking. If every farmer in the country comes and he has done all the farming, they’ll be checking his work.”

There has been renewed focus on Diddly Squat farm in recent months with the release of the latest season of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime.

As a result, Jeremy has been back in the headlines as his farming career continues to go from strength to strength as he fights more and more to fight for the rights of farmers as well as motorists.

This included attending a farming protest last year against the Labour government’s decision to change inheritance tax rules so they also applied to farmers.

Attending a protest in Central London, one which saw farmers block the capital’s roads with large tractors, Jeremy called on Labour to change their minds.

Meanwhile, as well as getting involved in politics Jeremy has also been getting involved in the pub and alcohol trades by launching The Farmer’s Dog alongside alcohol brands.

The launch of The Farmer’s Dog was something that was well documented in the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.

Speaking to Daily News about the venture, he said that it had taken its toll and that he would slow down when it came to launching new business ventures.

He admitted: “I’m done with business now. I am not starting another business as long as I live. I don’t understand it and am not motivated by money. I just want a good craic.”

Jeremy also said he hoped that by opening a pub he would encourage more people to do in person activities and spend less time on their phones.

He added: “Just have a pint, a chat with someone. It is a bit less time scrolling on social media, a bit less time sitting with your non-communicative children.

“Go and have a pint. It is a sensible and nice thing to do. It benefits the individual, the pub. Even in London. If you come out of the Tube station, don’t go home.”
