Kaleb Cooper Reveals Ambition to Purchase Farm Near Clarkson’s Cotswolds Base

Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm, has revealed that his biggest ambition in life is to one day own and run his very own farm in the Cotswolds.

The young farmer, who grew up in Chipping Norton, first won the hearts of viewers when he appeared alongside Jeremy Clarkson in the first season of the hit Prime Video series back in 2021. With his sharp wit, no-nonsense approach to farming, and constant exasperation at Clarkson’s missteps, Kaleb quickly became a fan favorite and one of the show’s most recognizable faces.

Since then, Cooper has featured in all three subsequent seasons, including the most recent fourth series that aired earlier this year between May and June. Away from the cameras, however, life has been equally eventful for the 27-year-old. He and his partner, Taya, are raising a young family together. Already a father of two, Kaleb recently welcomed the couple’s third child just weeks ago — a milestone that adds even more urgency to his dream of building a secure future through farming.

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Cooper laid bare his ultimate goal: to own his own working farm in the Cotswolds. “I was put on this earth to grow food,” he said, when asked about his vision for the future. “Calves, chickens and a few pigs. That’s the dream.”

For now, he continues to work hard and save every penny he can, though he admits the dream is a tough one to achieve. Agricultural land in the Cotswolds is among the most expensive in the country, costing around £20,000 per acre. “I’m saving everything,” he explained, “but because it’s the Cotswolds, the prices are going through the f***ing roof.”

At present, Cooper manages four acres of rented grassland where he keeps his herd of 200 beef cows. But he has no plans to give up on the vision of owning his own land, even if it takes years to make it happen. The Sunday Times piece noted: “He’s in it for the long haul. He wants his own slice of Cotswold heaven, and is prepared to be patient.”

Fans of Clarkson’s Farm can expect to see plenty more of Kaleb as filming for the show’s fifth season continues in Oxfordshire. The new series is scheduled to be released on Prime Video in 2026, where viewers will undoubtedly see more of Cooper’s trademark mix of passion for farming, frustration at Jeremy, and determination to succeed in one of Britain’s most challenging yet rewarding professions.
