Richard Hammond’s Fortune Revealed Amid News of His Split from Wife

The net worth of Richard Hammond has been revealed following the split from his wife earlier this year.

Having appeared on both BBC’s Top Gear and Prime Video’s The Grand Tour for over two decades alongside Oxfordshire farmer Jeremy Clarkson and James May, the presenter is well-known around the globe.

Mr Hammond was also in Woodstock back in the summer for Salon Privé, which was hosted at Blenheim Palace for the first time.

This came after a big personal life update from the 55-year-old at the start of the year when the presenter announced he and his wife of 28 years, Minday, were going their separate ways.

Taking to the social media site X in January, Mr Hammond told fans: “A little update from us; this Christmas we were together as a family, and this year we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently.

“Our marriage is coming to end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.

“We will always be in each other’s lives and are proud of the family we created.

“We won’t be commenting further and sincerely hope that our privacy and that of our children will be respected at this time.

“With Love, Richard and Mindy.”

Following this, Mr Hammond’s net worth has reportedly been revealed by Wales Online, who state the presenter is worth £37 million due to his TV career and business ventures.

The article reads: “He has been the director of five businesses. His current firm is Chimp Productions.

“The business lists its nature of business on the Companies House website as television programme production activities.

“According to Companies House, the business recorded cash at the bank and in hand as £1.45million in the year to March 2024. The previous year, this was £1.5millon.”
