Rock legends, pork pies and filming: What Jeremy Clarkson got up to in 2025
From rock legends and pork pies to Clarkson’s Farm filming, Jeremy Clarkson had a very busy year in 2025.
The TV presenter is well known all over the world thanks to his hugely popular shows Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm.
He is one of Oxfordshire’s most famous residents, living at his Chadlington farm, Diddly Squat, for several years now.
Mr Clarkson also owns The Farmer’s Dog pub in the county, too, often being spotted at the Cotswolds boozer.
The 65-year-old often makes headlines around the globe with his strong opinions and farming antics, which leave fans wanting more and more.
So here is a taste of what Jeremy Clarkson has been up to in 2025.
Expensive pies
The year kicked off at Jeremy Clarkson’s Cotswolds pub in an interesting fashion, with a public dispute over pork pies.
A stack of replica pork pies was placed on the counter at his Hops & Chops butchers under the Grand Tour tent on the pub grounds.
Each of the replicas was present to give an idea of size and price for the made-to-order pies, with visitors shocked to see that the biggest pie was priced at £199.99.
“You’re welcome to buy it for that, but I wouldn’t recommend eating it. As it’s not made of food.”
Despite his comments, the signs said made-to-order implying that the prices mentioned for each would be the price should a customer wish to order a pie of that size.
A few months later, the stack of replica pies was removed from the pub’s on-site butcher’s counter, along with the price tags.
Famous friends
Mr Clarkson has a lot of famous friends and fans, with the TV star welcoming several notable faces to his Cotswolds pub in 2025.
Among these was rock legend and Status Quo drummer John Coghlan, who was spotted enjoying a drink with his wife and a pal back in April.
Fellow music legends, The Wurzels, also visited the Oxfordshire watering hole to perform a surprise gig in July.
The legendary Scrumpy and Western band, hailing from Somerset, made a special appearance on stage at the Hawkstone Summer Party.

Best known for their 1976 number one hit ‘The Combine Harvester’, the band played through a whole host of their music catalogue on the pub grounds.
Mr Clarkson also welcomed acting ‘legend’ Susan George over to his Cotswolds home in October.
The 75-year-old is known for her roles in Straw Dogs with Dustin Hoffman, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry with Peter Fonda and Mandingo with Ken Norton.
Ms George now breeds horses and is farming, as Mr Clarkson said: “Had a legend over this evening. She’s farming now. Only Boomers will know.”
Clarkson’s Farm
The fourth series of Mr Clarkson’s hit Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm, was released across May and June of 2025.

With eight new episodes, fans were introduced to new temporary farmhand Harriet Cowan, as well as The Farmer’s Dog pub.
Reviews were once again positive on the whole, and the cast and crew picked up the 2025 National Television Award for the best factual entertainment show in September.
Making the next season of the show was far from straightforward for Mr Clarkson, though, as he faced multiple disruptions throughout 2025.
In June, the former Top Gear host warned drone users that his Oxfordshire property is a no-fly zone, making reference to the nearby RAF Brize Norton.
Then, in July, filming for the fifth series was halted once more after a Spitfire plane had entered the airspace above the farm, having departed from Oxford.
Mr Clarkson commented: “Definitely don’t mind having to stop filming while this flies over.”
Mr Clarkson also provided a major filming update on the upcoming fifth series of the popular Prime Video show in September, stating that it was done.
Taking to his personal Instagram account, the 65-year-old shared a photograph alongside Kaleb Cooper, Gerald Cooper, Lisa Hogan and Charlie Ireland to break the news, and simply said: “Season 5. It’s a wrap.”

Although no official release date has been given, it is expected that, with the episodes now in post-production, they could come out in the spring of 2026.
New books
Towards the end of 2025, Mr Clarkson brought out his fifth Clarkson’s Farm-themed book.
Named after his pub, The Farmer’s Dog, the new book shares his thoughts and experiences with the latest year of farming, alongside becoming a pub landlord.
He promoted the book in an Instagram video where he landed a cheeky dig at James Corden.
In the clip, Mr Clarkson pointed to the comedian’s book, When Gavin Met Stacey and Everything in Between, and told the camera: “[Mine’s] better than that.”
The 65-year-old’s best friend and schoolmate, Andy Wilman, also released a book at the end of 2025.
A TV producer by trade, the 63-year-old worked with Mr Clarkson on Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm, documenting this in Mr Wilman’s Motoring Adventure.
The book was promoted by Mr Clarkson, who took to Instagram with a heartfelt video message to fans about Mr Wilman, as the presenter held back tears.
Rounding off the glowing endorsement, he said: “I’m delighted to say that he’s written a book. It’s called Mr Wilman’s Motoring Adventure, and he explains really in it how he did it and what happened, what really happened.
“It’s a fantastic book, it really is, I’m just overflowing with joy that he’s put it all on paper.
“So here’s a suggestion: after you’ve read my new book, The Farmer’s Dog, do get this. It really is worth your while.”
