Jeremy Clarkson alongside sidekick Kaleb Cooper have gone on record with a decisive “no” to claims that the show is scripted.
Faced with discussions about the show’s candidness, particularly because of its entertaining episodes, some watchers pondered if scenarios were contrived.
Kaleb, in a chat with The Country Hour on ABC Australia, often addresses the curious question of the show’s veracity with a clear-cut affirmation: “They normally say ‘Is it all real?’ and I go ‘100 per cent’. I don’t know how they think it’s not real, I’m not an actor, I don’t go up there and act, I am myself.”
Jeremy has reassured his fans that the show remains unscripted. On X, he thanked his followers: “Once again, thank you for all the kind words about the second half of series three. I hope you enjoy four as much.”
A fan praised the series, saying: “One of the best programmes you’ve created. Not that it takes much creating. Your job of simply running the farm and highlighting the issues of British farming makes for excellent television.”
He seized this chance to affirm the authenticity of the production: “You’re dead right. It isn’t created or written or planned. The cameras just film us doing stuff.”
