Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher shares show update and admits he’s feeling ‘proud’
Actor Kelvin Fletcher has shared an upbeat and heartfelt moment with fans after revealing that watching his own farming programme on television still fills him with a strong sense of pride.
The former Emmerdale star, who is married to Liz Fletcher, has spent the past few years documenting their family’s move into rural life on their Peak District farm. Together, the couple — who share four young children — have opened the doors to their day-to-day experiences in the ITV series Fletchers’ Family Farm, which has already aired three successful seasons.
The programme is now set to return later this month with its fourth series, a milestone Kelvin has openly celebrated with his online following. On Monday evening (February 2), as a repeat episode was broadcast on ITV, Kelvin took to Instagram to share a personal glimpse of how he watches the show himself. In a short clip posted to his account, he could be seen sitting on the sofa with his parents as the programme began.
As the familiar introduction rolled, Kelvin joked with anticipation: “Oh what are they going to say? Let’s have a listen!” Moments later, as the opening sequence played out, he reacted with visible excitement, exclaiming: “Oh, it still makes me proud!” before adding enthusiastically: “Come on!”
Alongside the light-hearted moment, Kelvin also confirmed the show’s imminent return with brand-new episodes. Addressing fans directly, he said: “This Sunday, series four — the brand new series — starts at 11.30am.”
Kelvin first introduced viewers to his farming journey in Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure, which followed his transition from acting to agriculture. The positive response to that project led to the launch of Fletchers’ Family Farm, expanding the focus to include wife Liz and their children as they navigated the realities of rural life together.
In a previous update shared several weeks ago, Kelvin had already teased the show’s return while reflecting on the overwhelming response from audiences. “Series four incoming!” he wrote on Instagram. “No need for those series three blues as we are busy filming series four… and you can watch in February 2026!”
He went on to thank viewers for their continued support, adding: “Your support and feedback from this show has been truly overwhelming. We never thought it would resonate, inspire and simply entertain so many people — and so profoundly.”
Closing his message, Kelvin emphasised the bond he feels with the audience: “You really are on this journey with us, and sharing every step with you is so special. 2026 — we are coming!”
With a new series now just days away, fans of the ITV farming favourite will soon be able to rejoin the Fletcher family as they continue their rural adventure.
