Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher showered with support as he ‘finally’ shares announcement
Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have excitedly announced an update from their farm, capturing the hearts of their followers.
The couple, who have been sharing insights into their family life after swapping the limelight for life on a sprawling 120-acre farm with their four children, have now taken their journey a step further. They’ve invited viewers to join them through their hit ITV series Fletcher’s Family Farm, which is due to grace screens again later this year with a fresh series and a festive Fletchers’ Family Farm Christmas special.
Fans have been captivated by Kelvin, formerly known as Emmerdale’s farmer Andy Sugden, and Liz as they genuinely delve into farming life. The duo has just made an exciting revelation to their fans. On Instagram, the pair announced that they have crafted their very own gin, offering followers a “little taste of our farm”. Accompanied by images of their new gin and smiling proudly with their creation, they posted on their Fletcher’s on the Farm account: “It’s FINALLY here.”
The post further read: “Say hello to Fletcher’s Wincle Peak Gin – a little taste of our farm in a bottle. We’ve been foraging, blending, and fine-tuning for months, and now it’s ready to share,” reports the Manchester Evening News.
Kelvin and Liz have been working on home soil to personalise their product: “Infused with wild botanicals from our very own farm. Made using fresh spring water straight from our hills.
“Available in THREE delicious flavours: Classic Dry Gin, Apple, Mint and Lemon Verbena [and] Strawberry, Hibiscus and Black Pepper (yes, it’s as good as it sounds). This is a very limited run – once it’s gone, that’s it for now. Link in bio to grab your bottle and sip the spirit of the countryside. #FletchersGin #WinclePeakGin #FarmToBottle #ForagedFlavours#GinWithSoul.”
Following the joyful announcement, fans lunged to the comments section to offer up their support and kind words. One person wrote; “I love the name you’ve given it, I may have to buy a bottle or two as presents.”
Another gushed: “Looks gorgeous.” A third enthused: “Sounds delicious especially the strawberry and hibiscus flavour.” A fourth responded: “Looks great.” While others stated: “Aww brilliant, I love a glass or 2 of gin. Have to give this one a try,” and “Love this.”
The gin launch follows Kelvin’s confirmation to the MEN that filming for the next series of Fletcher’s Family Farm is currently underway, with episodes expected to air by October.
He also revealed that another Fletchers’ Family Farm Christmas special will return in December.
Kelvin was clearly delighted discussing the programme’s success: “The show has been really well received. I don’t know what it is, but I think the audience is learning with us.”
