Kelvin Fletcher left devastated as fire rips through family farmhouse — fans rally behind him

Fans are full of praise and support for the latest series of Fletchers’ Family Farm, which has returned to TV screens.

The popular reality show, which follows Oldham-born actor Kelvin Fletcher, his wife Liz and their four children as they manage their life on a working farm, is now in its third season on ITV.

Just four episodes into the latest season and there have already been some tense moments for the family.

The first episode, which aired on Sunday, October 19, showed the family come to terms with the aftermath of a devastating fire at their farmhouse, forcing the family to live elsewhere.

There was even more tension in the latest episode as Kelvin awaits the results for the annual bovine tuberculosis tests, which could determine the fate of the herd.

Fans have been quick to offer support to Kelvin and his family online, as well as praise for the show.

Instagram follower kathgale said: “I just love it. Love the children learning so much. So sorry about the fire but so glad you and the children weren’t home home and live through the fear of it.”

Another follower said: “Thoroughly enjoying watching the whole family grow into their farming roles. So sorry to learn about the house fire, loving the positivity though… ‘We will get through this’.”

On Facebook, Helen Lewis said: “Love it. I settle down with my 2 dogs, heating on, mug of tea and a duvet on the sofa to watch. Such a wonderful life for you all. So sad to see your home after the fire though.”

Joanne Parkes said: “Absolutely love watching your family life on the farm. Watch it every Sunday with my Mum, it’s her favourite programme.

“The children are so lucky to grow up in such a beautiful environment and are a credit to you both. We were sad to hear about the fire but glad you’re all ok and hopefully you’ll be back in your home soon.”

The Fletchers on the Farm Instagram account has also posted to thanks fans of their support for the show and the family.

It read: “Thank you so much for all your lovely messages, we read every single one and we can’t tell you how much it means to us.”

Fletchers’ Family Farm airs on ITV on Sundays at 11.30am. It is also available to stream on ITVX.
