Gold Rush Is Back — The Race for Gold Heats Up as Winter Nears

After a two-week break, Gold Rush Season 15 returned with a double-episode as the miners face mounting pressure with winter approaching and gold prices soaring.

Rick Ness is all-in at Vegas Valley, spending $1 million and moving Monster Red to chase a massive payout. Despite equipment setbacks and crew tensions, he pulled in over 250 ounces, including a surprise 200-ounce bonus—bringing new hope to his season. Emotional support came from longtime friend Zee, who returned despite his wife’s devastating cancer diagnosis.

Tony Beets revived his historic dredge and ramped up operations at Indian River and Paradise Hill. With multiple plants running, including help from nephew Mike and wife Ruby, Tony’s crews collected nearly 500 ounces, bringing the total to 4,800 ounces—just 200 short of his season goal.

Kevin Beets, tackling his first season as boss, needed to double his gold with only four weeks left. Running the wash plant non-stop with new hands and working through mechanical issues, he brought in 205 ounces, pushing his total to 680 ounces and keeping his hopes alive.

Parker Schnabel aimed for a comeback by investing $250K into opening the Elbow Cut. The gamble paid off with 282 ounces from the new cut, and another 100 ounces from the Bridge Cut, raising his season total to 5,425 ounces worth over $14 million.

With time running out, each crew is pushing harder than ever toward a strong season finish.
