Gold Rush Season 15 Episode 23 Release Date & Spoilers Nears Epic Finale

As the dust settles and the wash plants roar into their final week of action, Gold Rush Season 15 is setting the stage for a dramatic grand finale. Episode 22 aired last Friday, and it delivered intense setbacks, surprising victories, and a farewell to one of the most iconic machines in the show’s history.

Rick Ness Battles the Elements and Time at Vegas Valley

Rick Ness has been clawing his way toward a million-dollar season at Vegas Valley, and last week he crossed a major milestone—$670,000 worth of gold recovered. But progress hit a snag when he had to leave the site for a few days to chase down a water license in Vancouver. He returned without answers, and with morale low, the crew faced rising groundwater problems that shut down the wash plant temporarily.

Crew tensions flared, especially for Foreman Buzz Lolt, but there was a silver lining: a promising pay dirt discovery at Rally Valley. Despite a loader issue, Ryan Kent stepped in with a clever sensor fix that kept operations moving. Still, the week ended with just 122.82 ounces—a disappointing haul worth just over $320,000. With 200 ounces left to hit the season goal, the pressure is on.

Tony Beets Smashes 5,000-Ounce Goal

Over at Paradise Hill and Indian River, mining legend Tony Beets had a massive win. His crews pulled 205.80 ounces from the Indian River’s comeback cut and 264.76 ounces from Paradise Hill, pushing his season total to 5,290 ounces—worth nearly $14 million.

In classic Tony style, he surprised daughter Monica with a new half-million-dollar wash plant, though whether she’ll get a birthday gift remains “TBD.” Monica’s no slouch herself—she’s leading a smart new project to mine old tailings near the Hester cut.

Parker Schnabel Says Goodbye to Big Red

Parker Schnabel faced a gut-punch this episode as “Big Red,” his trusted wash plant of 12 seasons, finally broke down. With 34,300 ounces and $53 million to its name, Big Red’s side tension bars snapped, ending an era.

Undeterred, Parker brought in backup. He transported “Bob” from Sulfur Creek to Dominion using a giant P16 hauler. In just four days, Bob churned out 290.05 ounces worth $766,000. With Big Red’s final 96 ounces and another 276 from Roxan, Parker’s total now sits at 6,880 ounces—worth over $16 million.
