THE TRUTH BEHIND THE KEVIN TEAM EXCAVATOR FIRE

Gold miner Kevin Beets is facing a major crisis after a fire disabled his only working excavator, threatening to derail his ambitious 1,000-ounce season goal. Running the operation 24/7, Kevin’s team had been pushing hard, but setbacks—including mechanical breakdowns and limited resources—have made the season an uphill battle.

DISASTER STRIKES

While operating the 700 excavator, crew member Chase Ger noticed smoke coming from the engine. The team acted fast, but the damage was severe. This was the second fire on the machine this season, following a previous starter failure that Kevin had replaced. With no excavators, pay dirt couldn’t be hauled, bringing production to a halt.

FIGHTING BACK

Determined to salvage the season, Kevin personally repaired the excavator, reinforcing electrical connections and adding extra insulation. After multiple attempts, the machine roared back to life.

RACING AGAINST TIME

With just weeks left in the season, Kevin’s team must push harder than ever. They remain nearly 700 ounces short of their goal, and one more breakdown could end their chances. But Kevin refuses to quit.

“This season has tested us, but we’re not done yet,” he said. “We’ll fight to the very end.”
