Mahoney, known for her work in gold prospecting and reality TV, recently hit a productive gold patch, unearthing multiple nuggets—including one valued at around $15,000. While celebrating the find, she admitted to some friendly competition with her father, who continues to pull in larger nuggets.
Her days in the bush involve precise excavation work, ensuring all mining follows strict lease boundaries. She described moments of deep concentration while operating heavy machinery, recalling an instance when she mistakenly cut pads 20 meters off target because she was lost in thought.
While working, Mahoney is often followed by local wildlife, including butcher birds that feast on insects uncovered by her loader. The rough conditions and long hours don’t deter her, though. At the end of the day, she and her team set up camp, cook under the stars, and continue their search for gold.
A Game-Changer for Gold Investment
Using her years of experience in the gold industry, Mahoney has now introduced a gold subscription box, the first of its kind worldwide. The service allows subscribers to receive $200 worth of gold each month, making gold investment more accessible.
