Amanda Owen has sent her followers into a spin with the announcement of the future of Our Farm Next Door.

The popular spin-off to Our Yorkshire Farm, which follows Amanda, her former husband Clive and their grown-up children as they renovate the dilapidated farmhouse next door to Ravenseat, known as Anty John’s, into a contemporary family home, has been a hit with Channel 4 viewers.

Despite significant progress in previous seasons, there’s still much work to be done, and fans will once again be invited along for the journey.

In an exciting update, Amanda confirmed that the show will soon be gracing our TV screens again. Sharing a clip on her official Instagram account, she announced: “I almost forgot to remind you all that Our Farm Next Door is coming back for a new series. It will be on More4 soon, I know that is a bit vague for you but that is the best I can do.”

She continued: “In the next couple of weeks you will be able to catch up with what is going on on the farm, what the children have been up to and how the house renovation is coming on so more information will follow.”

Accompanying the post, she teased: “Coming to More4 soon…….very soon. A BRAND NEW SERIES OF OUR FARM NEXT DOOR.”, reports the Express.

As anticipated, the comments section was awash with excited fans eagerly awaiting the new series. One fan expressed: “Can’t wait to watch and see how you progressed with Anty Johns.”

Another viewer gushed: “So excited for this. My 5 yr old daughter loves watching you guys.” A third person said: “Look forward to watching the new series.” One fan wrote: “Can’t wait to see you all.. Sending Love,” whilst another enthusiast declared: “So looking forward to seeing you all again on TV ,a breath of fresh air in every way.”

Channel 4 has now announced the show will broadcast at 9pm on More4 starting 19 January. The forthcoming episodes comprise the programme’s third and fourth series, shot between May and December 2025, documenting the full spectrum of Yorkshire’s weather conditions.

Amanda will continue exploring the farmhouse’s captivating past, including its most notable previous occupant, Swaledale cartographer Anthony Clarkson, whilst the family embarks on their most ambitious undertaking to date – the interior refurbishment.

From designing room arrangements to fitting pipework and finally securing running water, these developments represent a significant milestone in their venture.

Jayne Stanger, Channel 4’s commissioning editor, commented: “Following the Owen family’s incredible work to renovate Anty John’s has been such a joy, and I’m over the moon we’re able to continue the journey with two more series for More4.

“I can’t wait to see how the amazing transformation of the farmhouse continues, alongside the magnificent Yorkshire scenery we’re treated to in every episode.”
