The Oak Island Treasure Has FINALLY Been Discovered Near Smith’s Cove!
Oak Island, long shrouded in mystery and legend, may be on the brink of surrendering its secrets. In a stunning development, Rick and Marty Lagina, stars of the long-running television series The Curse of Oak Island, have discovered traces of gold in the water at Smith’s Cove—fueling fresh excitement and speculation about the island’s elusive treasure.
The golden traces, detected by water testing experts Dr. Ian Spooner and Dr. Michelle, have led the team to expand their search west of the Garden Shaft. An area dubbed the “Baby Blob” has become the epicenter of their investigation, as drilling efforts intensify.
ANCIENT LADDER UNCOVERED IN FLOODED TUNNEL
The search took a thrilling turn when Marty Lagina uncovered a hand-carved wooden ladder deep within the Garden Shaft—a structure that appears to descend into a dark, water-filled tunnel. Experts believe this could be evidence of explorers from centuries past, perhaps those who originally buried the rumored treasure.
The eerie find echoes local legends warning that seven lives must be lost before the treasure can be revealed. So far, six have perished during past searches.
HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND GOLD TRACES CONFIRM ACTIVITY BELOW
As borehole DN 11.5 reached depths of 90 feet, the drilling rig pierced an open void—measuring about 1.5 feet wide. Core samples from this area brought up ancient wood, later tested by metal archaeologist Emma Culligan, who confirmed notable gold content in the fibers. This marks one of the most significant breakthroughs in the team’s 225-year-old search.
“Every piece of evidence adds to the puzzle,” said Rick Lagina during a press briefing. “We are closer than we’ve ever been.”
LOST TUNNELS, STONE WALLS, AND THE MYSTERIOUS QUADRILATERAL
Exploration of Lot 26 led to the discovery of a peculiar stone wall, possibly part of an ancient structure. Tom Nolan, son of famed Oak Island surveyor Fred Nolan, joined the effort, contributing historical maps and field notes, including references to the Quadrilateral, a mysterious stone formation whose purpose remains unknown.
As drilling continues, boreholes 8.5 and 13.5 have revealed yet another tantalizing find: a 10-foot underground void, alongside air bubbles emerging from the soil—both signs of man-made tunnels.
MODERN TECHNOLOGY, ANCIENT LEGENDS
The Duma Mining Company has reinforced the Garden Shaft with concrete to allow safer exploration. Meanwhile, divers and equipment are on standby to further probe the suspected flood tunnels, thought to protect the treasure.
Among the most provocative theories is the connection to the Knights Templar, medieval Christian warriors who may have fled to the New World, hiding sacred relics—such as the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant—beneath Oak Island.
WHAT LIES BENEATH?
With the island’s dark curse and the weight of centuries behind them, the Lagina brothers push forward. Will the final chapter of Oak Island’s mystery soon be written? Or will the treasure remain hidden, guarded by secrets, shadows, and sacrifice?
🧭 Historical Highlights:
-
1861: The original Money Pit collapses, deepening the mystery.
-
Recent: Discovery of an ancient lead cross, coins, pottery, and relics believed to date back to the Middle Ages.
