After Brutal Hospital Stay, Jeremy Clarkson Registers a Bold New Business Move

Jeremy Clarkson has taken a significant new step in his career, just weeks after revealing he had undergone a “painful” visit to the hospital.

The 65-year-old broadcaster, best known for his long-running roles on Top Gear, The Grand Tour, and the hugely popular Clarkson’s Farm, has recently been more candid about his health struggles. Earlier this year, fans watched the latest season of Clarkson’s Farm, but behind the scenes, the presenter has been dealing with medical issues that briefly halted his usually fast-paced lifestyle.

In a candid Sunday Times column published last month, Clarkson disclosed that he had been rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Although he refused to share the specific diagnosis, he gave readers a blunt idea of the ordeal he endured.

“The treatment was Defcon 1 painful,” he wrote. “They had to peel me off the ceiling with a spatula afterwards, and I was forced to stay the night, but it was OK. I’m not going to tell you what was wrong, because that’s none of your business.”

The incident came shortly after Clarkson had described the NHS as a “creaking monster”—a comment that stirred debate among fans and critics alike. However, despite his earlier criticism, he praised the hospital staff for the care he received during the emergency, noting that the treatment was exceptional even if the experience was far from pleasant.

Now, according to a new report from Wales Online, Clarkson has quietly launched a new business venture seemingly inspired by his recent brush with ill health. Documents filed with Companies House and shared by The Mirror reveal that he registered a new company on October 22 under the striking name Still Breathing.

While the specific purpose of the firm remains unclear, initial filings describe the venture’s activities as “security dealing on own account.” As of now, neither Clarkson nor his representatives have commented on the exact nature of the enterprise or what prompted its creation, though the name alone has already sparked curiosity among fans.

Meanwhile, those eager for more Clarkson’s Farm content won’t have to wait too long. Filming for Season 5 officially wrapped at the end of September, marking the completion of another year of adventures—and misadventures—at Diddly Squat Farm. Although Amazon has yet to confirm a release date, previous seasons have typically arrived in the spring, suggesting viewers may see the new episodes sometime next year.

For now, fans are watching closely—not just to see what Clarkson does next on the farm, but also what this newly formed company, Still Breathing, means for one of Britain’s most recognisable TV personalities.
