Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan lands first role away from Clarkson’s Farm as she hosts dating show

JEREMY Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan has landed a major TV job away from Clarkson’s Farm and it’s hosting a global smash dating show.

She will head up the UK version of Farming for Love, which is now in its 25th year and is arguably the most successful matchmaking franchise ever having produced 250 marriages and over 600 babies.

The programme, which began life as Farmer Wants a Wife in the UK back in 2001, has selected four eligible farmers who are ready to find a partner.

Lisa, 51, says: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships.

“What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that is what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world.

“I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

Farming in the UK has had a renaissance in the public eye in recent years, thanks largely to shows like Clarkson’s Farm and Fletchers’ Family Farm, itself another ITV show, that document the realities of farm life with a heap of good humour thrown in.

Irish actress Lisa’s own love story with Jeremy, 66, began in 2017 when they met at a Christmas party — four years before their debut on Clarkson’s Farm.

She admits Jeremy “wears the trousers”, though he had to work for the privilege.

She previously told The Times: “It was quite a long courtship as I didn’t know where he was in his life. And I wasn’t ready to start dating again; didn’t want to go out with anyone.

“He had to court me for three months.”

They live in a £12.5m mansion on their Cotswolds Farm and count stars like David Beckham as neighbours.
