Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan to work on popular farming show – and it’s not Clarkson’s Farm

The series first aired on ITV in 2021.

ITV is reviving popular reality dating show Farmer Wants a Wife, with Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan set to present the series.

Now titled Farming for Love, the series follows a group of single farmers on a quest to find their perfect match, all while shining a light on modern British farming life, offering the farmers a chance to find genuine romance in settings as authentic as they are.

The synopsis continues: “Farmers select potential partners from applications and invite them to move onto the farm, where they must experience the realities of rural life first-hand.

“Living and working together, the couples discover whether love can truly take root beyond the romance.”

At the end of the romantic journey, each farmer must make a decision and choose the person they believe could be the one.

The series first aired in 2001 with Catherine Gee at the helm, before returning in 2009 with Louise Redknapp, and it aired on 5.

Lisa, 51, said of joining the series: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships.

“What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that is what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world.

“I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

The series is hugely popular worldwide, having produced 250 marriages and over 600 babies. The Australian version of the show is thought to be the most successful with over 20 marriages over its 16 seasons.

The US edition has also gained popularity in recent years with a revamped series in 2023, which is available to watch on Hulu in the US.

Farming for Love is coming to ITV.
