Diddly Squat Products Arrive in Preston as Clarkson’s Farm Returns to Prime Video
The new series of Clarkson’s Farm has officially landed on Prime Video, and fans in Preston now have another reason to celebrate. Viewers who have followed Jeremy Clarkson’s chaotic, comic and often surprisingly heartfelt farming journey can now get their hands on a selection of Diddly Squat Farm products without making the long trip to the Cotswolds.
A range of items from Clarkson’s famous farm shop is now available at the farm shop inside Barton Grange Garden Centre, giving local shoppers a taste of the Chipping Norton-based brand much closer to home.
For years, fans have travelled to Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Oxfordshire to buy everything from Clarkson’s much-talked-about “bee juice” to crisps, sauces, drinks and other countryside-inspired goods. The shop has become a major tourist attraction in its own right, often drawing large queues from visitors keen to experience a piece of the Prime Video series for themselves.
Now, thanks to a new partnership, some of that Diddly Squat spirit has arrived in Preston.
The move follows an announcement from Blue Diamond Garden Centres, the company behind Barton Grange, confirming an exclusive three-year partnership with Diddly Squat Farm. The collaboration will see a wider product programme rolled out gradually, with more items expected to appear over time.
According to the companies involved, the partnership is not limited to existing farm shop favourites. New co-branded products are also expected to be introduced later this year, suggesting that the Diddly Squat brand could soon expand well beyond food and drink.
One of the first examples of the collaboration has already been revealed at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where the Diddly Squat Farm Rosé Rose was presented. The flower, bred by Rosen Tantau, marks an early sign of how the partnership could combine Clarkson’s farming brand with Blue Diamond’s gardening and horticultural expertise.
For fans of Clarkson’s Farm, the timing could hardly be better. The latest series has returned to Prime Video, once again putting Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, Kaleb Cooper and the wider Diddly Squat team back in the spotlight. The show has built a huge following by mixing rural humour with the harsh realities of British agriculture, from unpredictable weather and rising costs to planning disputes, animal care and the pressure of trying to make a farm financially sustainable.
That authenticity is a major reason why Diddly Squat products have become so popular. For many fans, buying something from the brand is not just about the product itself. It is about feeling connected to the farm, the people and the story they have watched unfold on screen.
Lisa Hogan, co-founder of Diddly Squat Farm Shop alongside Jeremy Clarkson, welcomed the partnership and praised Blue Diamond’s shared interest in nature and the countryside.
“We are thrilled to have found a partner as passionate about nature as we are and it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know the Blue Diamond team,” she told Garden Forum. “I look forward to learning a lot more in the coming months as we spread the joy of Diddly Squat Farm around the country with our collaborative range of gardening products.”
Her comments suggest that the partnership is about more than simply putting Diddly Squat labels on shelves. It is being positioned as a broader collaboration around farming, gardening, rural life and British-grown products.
Alan Roper, Chief Executive of Blue Diamond Garden Centres, also praised the appeal of the Diddly Squat brand, saying the farm had captured public imagination through its honest and humorous portrayal of the challenges facing British farmers.
“Diddly Squat Farm has captured the imagination of millions through its authenticity in portraying the challenges that British Farmers face, whilst maintaining a sense of humour,” he said. “We are delighted to be bringing the spirit of Diddly Squat Farm to Blue Diamond Garden Centres.”
For Barton Grange, the arrival of Diddly Squat products could prove a major draw. The Preston garden centre is already a popular destination for shoppers, families and gardening enthusiasts. Adding Clarkson’s farm shop range gives visitors another reason to browse, especially those who have followed the Prime Video series and want to try the products without travelling to Oxfordshire.
The partnership also reflects the growing power of Clarkson’s Farm as a brand. What began as a television series about a celebrity learning the realities of farming has evolved into a wider rural business empire, including the farm shop, food products, drinks, merchandise, gardening collaborations and The Farmer’s Dog pub.
For Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan, the Blue Diamond agreement represents another step in taking Diddly Squat beyond the Cotswolds while keeping its countryside identity intact.
For fans in Preston, it means the experience is now much closer to home. Instead of heading down to Chipping Norton and joining the famous queues outside the farm shop, they can visit Barton Grange and pick up a taste of Diddly Squat locally.
With more products expected to arrive in the coming months, the partnership could make Diddly Squat a familiar name not just on television, but in garden centres and farm shops across the country.
