Jeremy Clarkson’s famous neighbour says ‘I haven’t been back’ after issue on his farm

The area has seen a significant increase in visitors keen to see the locations featured in Jeremy Clarkson’s hit series, Clarkson’s Farm

Jeremy Clarkson’s well-known neighbour has shared her mixed feelings about living near his popular farm. Since the launch of Clarkson’s Farm in 2021, the area has seen a sharp rise in visitors keen to see the locations featured on the show.

With a fifth series now confirmed, the 66-year-old’s neighbour Amanda Holden has reflected on how much things have changed amid his growing popularity.

The 55-year-old is one of several high-profile residents in the region, alongside figures such as Simon Cowell, who also owns property nearby.

Speaking on Heart Radio’s Breakfast Show, Amanda said while she enjoys the programme, she isn’t a fan of the long queues in the area.

“We don’t love the queues in the Cotswolds, but we love it [the show],” she said. “I’ve got a house up there that’s really close and I went to his farm, very early on. I haven’t been back since, only because the queues are so big.”

The Britain’s Got Talent judge joked that she could probably bypass the crowds, adding: “I could probably just walk across the field to be honest, unless he might think I’m trespassing. ‘Get off my land!’ No, I should go and have a look because everything has change, they’ve got a whole new situation going on there.”

The former Top Gear star bought his 1,000-acre farm near Chipping Norton in West Oxfordshire in 2008, but only took over day-to-day operations years later when the previous tenant retired.

Since then, viewers have followed him as he adapts to life as a farmer, with support from his team including Kaleb Cooper.

In the upcoming series, Jeremy is set to reunite with his farmhand, who was absent from the opening episodes of the previous season.

Teasing what’s ahead, Prime Video said: “Clarkson’s Farm is back, and amid a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly.

“But while the farm tries to go high-tech, resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad, bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that will prove an even greater challenge.”

First-look images from the new series show Jeremy, Kaleb and his long-term partner Lisa Hogan back in action on the farm.

It has since been announced that Lisa will be hosting ITV’s upcoming dating series Farming for Love, a refreshed version of the Farmer Wants a Wife format.

Speaking about the show on This Morning, she said: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, and the same can be said for relationships.

“What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is, there is no hiding on a farm, and that’s what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other. It has had success around the world, and I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”
