Lisa Hogan Breaks Silence After Jeremy Clarkson’s Latest Medical Update
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
The former Top Gear host, 66, revealed the news in the latest episodes of Clarkson’s Farm, confirming that while the disease is aggressive, it was discovered early.
He told viewers that he has undergone surgery to remove part of his prostate and spoke candidly about treatment complications.
Clarkson’s partner, Irish actress Lisa Hogan, has thanked fans for their support since his diagnosis was made public.
Ms Hogan shared a photo on Instagram of Clarkson sitting outdoors with a camera in hand and captioned the image ‘back at the farm.’
She also reposted a message from Prostate Cancer UK, who thanked Clarkson for raising awareness of the disease through his Prime Video series.
In a post to her own followers, she wrote: “Thank you for all the support today.”
Clarkson revealed his cancer diagnosis during a conversation with farm manager Kaleb Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland in a recent episode of the show.
Among those wishing him well was former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Mr Sunak said: “Very sorry to hear this. Wishing @JeremyClarkson a full and speedy recovery. Prostate cancer affects far too many men and early diagnosis can make all the difference.”
TV presenter Piers Morgan also offered his support.
Mr Morgan said: “I wish my old sparring partner all the best with his treatment.
“Guys, have a PSA test, it may save your life.”
Before the episode aired, Clarkson took to Instagram to warn fans that parts of the new season would be difficult to watch.
He wrote: “Sombre news – Clarkson’s Farm.
“Ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming, and cheerful, but two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are, they’re none of those things, really.
“They’re a difficult watch, they’re really, really difficult.”
The topic of prostate cancer was previously raised on the show when farmhand Gerald Cooper revealed his own diagnosis.
Mr Cooper was later declared cancer-free in 2024.
Clarkson referenced his colleague’s experience in the season five finale, remarking that they could now ‘share medical war stories.’
He told Mr Cooper he had undergone surgery and joked: “Fingers crossed it’s worked.
“I tell you what though.
“Catheter.
“Honestly no, that was the worst.”
The diagnosis comes nearly two years after Clarkson had a heart procedure, where he was fitted with two stents to improve blood flow.
He previously gave up smoking after contracting pneumonia while on holiday in Spain.
