Centuries-Old Secret Revealed – Oak Island Delivers Its Greatest Find Yet!
The Curse Of Oak Island is one of History Channel’s most popular shows today. It’s about the journey of brothers Rick and Marty Lagina, who are searching for the legends of buried treasures around Oak Island. They have already set up multiple digging sites in the hopes of discovering the secrets of the tree-covered island. Since the 18th century, attempts have been made to find treasure. But some fans on social media think the “Holy Grail” has been found. Keep reading to see what it was.
The Curse Of Oak Island: New Pathways Continues To Shock The Crew
Rick and Marty are still on the hunt in the latest season of The Curse Of Oak Island. The latest episode featured a newly discovered pathway in the swamp. This led to the team believing that more activities have happened at the island than ever believed. After an analysis, a gemstone on Lot 5 is believed to be the key to uncovering the mysteries of the island. But despite all the efforts to find the ultimate treasure, some fans on social media think Rick and the crew should drop the search for the “holy grail.”
The ‘Holy Grail’ Finally Discovered?
Some The Curse Of Oak Island fans on social media discussed History Channel’s post featuring a photo of what appeared to be the “Holy Grail.” It was believed to be the hallowed cup Jesus Christ supposedly drank from during his last supper. The jewel-encrusted goblet has been sought after by treasure hunters over the years.
According to historian Margarita Torres, it has the biggest hints of dating back from Christ’s era. She claimed, “The only chalice that could be considered the chalice of Christ is that which made the journey to Cairo and then from Cairo to León—and that is this chalice.” However, some fans are skeptical about it.
- “It can’t be the grail. We all know that the French had it. “Eet is quite nize ” You silly English kaniggets.”
- “This has been around for years – possibly hundreds, if memory serves. The cathedral in Valencia has had this cup and many a pope – including John Paul II- used it for communion while visiting.
- “Do you think they would lend it out to the boys of Oak Island so Emma can run some tests on it? She can do a chemical analysis of the Holy Grail and see if it lines up with any of the Oak Island artifacts.”
- “I used to worry about that. If I remember my Old Testament correctly, drilling through the Ark of the Covenant would not be a good idea.”
The Curse Of Oak Island: Some Of The Most Memorable Finds So Far
Rick and Marty Lagina have made some memorable finds throughout their time in Oak Island. They found a gold-plated brooch in Lot 21. It is believed to have come from the 14th century. The crew also dug up a garnet pin in Lot 8, which dated back to the 16th century. They have also found gold in what they call the “money pit.” Unfortunately, most of their other discoveries were just pieces of wood, which they believed to be from a structure.
