Jeremy Clarkson Sparks Farm Chaos: Lisa’s Fed Up and Kaleb’s Job Is on the Line!

Jeremy Clarkson’s High-Tech Tractor Obsession Leaves Lisa Hogan Bored—and Kaleb Cooper Jobless?

Jeremy Clarkson has a new love… and it’s not Lisa Hogan. It’s a tractor. A driverless one.

The Clarkson’s Farm star has splashed out on a cutting-edge AgBot T2, a self-driving tractor that roams the fields of Diddly Squat Farm in the dead of night—without anyone in the cab. While Jeremy is thrilled with his new toy, his partner Lisa Hogan… not so much.

In his latest Sunday Times column, the 65-year-old TV personality confessed:

“Every night for the past week I’ve climbed into bed and made Lisa watch a feed from the AgBot’s cameras as it trundles along in the darkness.
She thinks I’ve become a bore and wonders sleepily why I can’t watch Pornhub like a normal person.”

But Clarkson isn’t ashamed of his new bedtime habit:

“To be in bed while you’re tractoring does make me all warm and fuzzy.”

A Bumpy Goodbye to His Beloved Lamborghini Tractor

Clarkson’s latest infatuation comes on the heels of selling off his eye-catching Lamborghini tractor—a behemoth of a machine featured in Season 4 of Clarkson’s Farm. With a massive 7.8-litre engine and 340 horsepower, it left Kaleb Cooper gobsmacked when Clarkson first bought it.

But replacing it wasn’t easy.

“The decision was filling me with absolute dread,” he admitted—before settling on the £85,000 green AgBot.

Kaleb Cooper: Fan Favorite… and Now Facing a Robot Rival?

While Clarkson is over the moon, his trusty right-hand man Kaleb Cooper isn’t exactly thrilled. In fact, he’s worried the robot might steal his job.

“Kaleb hates it,” Clarkson revealed. “He says it’ll put him out of a job.”

And it’s not hard to see why. Clarkson explained that planting 200 acres of barley and wheat takes about 30 grueling hours of bouncing around in a tractor.

“Even though I’ve had five years of practice, I’m still not very good at it,” Clarkson confessed. “I miss bits. I mess up turns. I’ve planted entire fields with an empty hopper.”

Enter: the AgBot.

“It doesn’t need sleep. It doesn’t take loo breaks. And it doesn’t get bored.”

Clarkson did try to cheer Kaleb up by suggesting he could operate his own tractor on another farm while the AgBot works solo—and earn double. Kaleb wasn’t thrilled but eventually admitted Jeremy had a point.

From 50p an Hour to Farming Fame

Kaleb’s worries come despite his skyrocketing fame since Clarkson’s Farm launched in 2021. He’s gone from earning just 50p an hour to becoming a millionaire and soon-to-be father of three. His fiancée, Taya, is expecting their third child in August.

Despite all the success, it seems that even Clarkson’s most loyal farmhand isn’t immune to the march of automation—and neither is Lisa Hogan, who’s had enough of tractor footage in bed.
