Clarkson’s Farm star’s kindhearted gesture ahead of new series

Kaleb Cooper has once again shown his support for the local community, helping raise almost £2,000 for a firefighters’ charity during a fundraising event in Chipping Norton.

The Clarkson’s Farm favourite, who became widely known through the hit Prime Video series alongside Jeremy Clarkson, joined volunteers at Chipping Norton fire station over the weekend for a charity car wash. The event proved a major success, bringing in £1,856.10 for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Cooper, 27, from Chipping Norton, has become one of the breakout stars of Clarkson’s Farm since the series first introduced viewers to life at Diddly Squat Farm, Jeremy Clarkson’s 1,000-acre site between Chadlington and Chipping Norton. Known for his farming knowledge, quick humour and close working relationship with Clarkson, Cooper has built a strong public following while continuing to stay closely connected to his local area.

His appearance at the fire station came just weeks before the new series of Clarkson’s Farm is expected to arrive in June, adding further excitement among fans who have followed Cooper’s journey from local farm contractor to television favourite.

Chipping Norton Fire Station thanked everyone who attended the event, saying the community had turned out in force to support the cause. The station also thanked Cooper for joining the fundraiser, as well as senior fire service leaders who took part and helped with the busy day.

The team said the event was so busy that they did not manage to capture a proper crew photo, instead sharing a merged collection of images from the day to mark the occasion. They described it as a brilliant day overall, with the final total reflecting the generosity of local residents.

The money raised will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, an organisation that provides specialist health and wellbeing support to serving and retired fire service personnel, as well as their spouses and dependants. The charity offers lifelong assistance, including mental health support, physical rehabilitation and financial help for members of what it calls the fire family.

Kaleb Cooper has starred in the Amazon Prime show since its debut in 2021

Cooper’s involvement will not come as a surprise to many local supporters. He has previously taken part in similar fundraising efforts at Chipping Norton fire station and has often used his public profile to back community causes.

While Clarkson’s Farm has brought international attention to the Oxfordshire countryside, moments like this show Cooper’s continued connection to the people and places that shaped him before television fame. For many fans, his willingness to turn up and help at a local fundraiser is part of why he remains one of the most popular figures on the show.

With a new series of Clarkson’s Farm on the way in June, Cooper is expected to return to screens as Diddly Squat faces another season of farming challenges, business pressures and unpredictable countryside life. But away from the cameras, his latest appearance at Chipping Norton fire station has highlighted a more personal side of his public role: supporting the community that has supported him.
