Co-Founder of Hereford’s Beefy Boys Teams Up with Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper Ahead of Farmfest

Anthony ‘Murf’ Murphy, one of the co-founders of the popular burger joint, Hereford’s Beefy Boys, has recently been seen alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper as they prepared for the upcoming Farmfest festival. The event, which will take place later this month in Warwickshire, is expected to showcase the Beefy Boys’ mouth-watering, award-winning burgers, alongside a range of exciting cookery demonstrations.

Murf shared a photo from the event on social media, offering fans a glimpse of the collaborative spirit between the Beefy Boys and the Clarkson’s Farm crew. Reflecting on the experience, Murf spoke to the Hereford Times, saying how fantastic it was to work with Clarkson and his team. “The whole Clarkson’s Farm team were great, everyone was very lovely and generous with their time,” Murf shared, highlighting the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the festival’s planning stages.

The Beefy Boys will be adding their unique flair to the festival, with live cookery demonstrations designed to showcase their skills from their brand-new book, The Beefy Boys Great British BBQ. The book, which was released this month, offers an inside look at the secrets behind their famous burgers and BBQ recipes. Murf expressed his excitement about being part of the festival, saying that it was an excellent opportunity to share the team’s passion for cooking and the food they love.

This isn’t the first time the Beefy Boys have joined forces with the Clarkson’s Farm crew. In 2025, Murf and his team were invited to cook alongside Kaleb Cooper at the Three Counties Show, where Kaleb hosted a live burger masterclass. During the session, Kaleb took the stage for a 45-minute tutorial, teaching the crowd how to craft the perfect burger. Murf recalls the session fondly, saying, “Kaleb was a real pro. He did a great job showing the crowd how to make burgers, all while having a laugh and chatting about farming, his upcoming children’s book, and life at Diddly Squat.”

Murf went on to explain how much they enjoyed the collaboration, commenting on how relaxed and friendly the atmosphere was, and how their discussions around BBQ and farming allowed them to bond over shared passions. “We had a real good laugh with him on stage,” he said, further emphasizing the camaraderie between the Beefy Boys and the Clarkson’s Farm team.

As Farmfest draws near, fans of Clarkson’s Farm and the Beefy Boys are eager to see what’s in store, with both teams promising an event packed with great food, fun, and plenty of laughs. Whether it’s tasting the Beefy Boys’ award-winning burgers, learning new BBQ tips, or simply soaking in the atmosphere of this exciting festival, there’s no doubt that Farmfest will be an event to remember.
