Jeremy Clarkson Warns Fans About Parking Chaos Ahead of Massive Cereals Event at Diddly Squat

Jeremy Clarkson has issued a major parking warning as up to 30,000 visitors are expected to flock to his Cotswolds farm this week for one of the UK’s largest agricultural events. The former Top Gear host, who has turned his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm near Chadlington into a popular tourist destination, is preparing for an influx of attendees for the annual Cereals arable farming show.

The event, which showcases the latest in agricultural machinery, crop innovations, and industry talks, will see dozens of exhibitors and live demonstrations across the farm. With so many people expected, Clarkson and his team have urged fans to plan ahead before visiting the farm shop.

In a statement posted on Diddly Squat’s official Instagram page, the team explained: “If you’re planning on visiting Diddly this week, please be aware of the parking situation. Our normal car park will be closed due to the trade event. The overflow car park will remain open, but it can get very muddy if it rains. Visitors with low-profile vehicles or motorbikes, or those who simply want to avoid the traffic, are strongly advised to visit our shop at The Farmer’s Dog pub instead.”

Local residents in and around Chipping Norton and Chadlington have also been cautioned to expect heavy traffic during the two-day event, which runs from Wednesday, June 10, through Thursday, June 11. The Cereals show is one of the UK’s largest gatherings of arable farmers, offering networking opportunities, demonstrations of cutting-edge machinery, and talks from leading industry experts.

Clarkson, who took over management of the farm during lockdown and opened the Diddly Squat Farm Shop shortly afterward, has seen his property transform into a major destination for both tourists and farming enthusiasts. The combination of his television fame and the farm’s growing reputation has made Diddly Squat a focal point for visitors in West Oxfordshire, particularly during large-scale events like Cereals.

Fans attending the event are encouraged to check local guidance, plan for potential delays, and consider alternative parking or transport options to ensure a smooth visit. With thousands expected over the two days, the team stresses patience and preparedness to make the most of the experience while minimizing disruption to locals.
