Amid confirmation of Jake Anderson‘s divorce from wife Jenna Anderson, the Deadliest Catch star has also debuted a new romance with Daisy Willems. But with all the new interest in his relationship status, Jake took to Instagram to clarify a few things.
“I feel like I have to officially address this situation cause fake spam sites on facebook are spreading false rumours,” Jake wrote. “Daisy and I started dating in March and we love each other very much, but we are not engaged or married.”
He also weighed in on all the buzz about his and Jenna’s divorce after 13 years of marriage and 17 years together. “As for the speculation of the reasons for the divorce. That is an entirely private matter,” Jake continued. “The constant bashing of all parties involved and spreading of rumours hurts all of us. We are all on good terms and I don’t want anyone bashing my girlfriend Daisy or the mother of my children Jenna on my socials.”
Jake and Jenna split in early 2025, about a year before his relationship with Daisy began. Jake and Daisy were friends before their relationship turned romantic, as she first posted him on her Instagram in November 2025, months before the March start date of their romance.
Daisy also posted about the “fake spam sites” on her own Instagram page. “Jake and I are not engaged or married. We started dating in March and love each other very much,” she shared. “Jake is a great guy, he’s a loving father and an attentive partner. It’s wild to judge him on a few moments you see of his personality in a highly stressful environment on a tv-show, while you’ve never spend time with him or been in his shoes.”
She continued to praise her man and also addressed speculation that she’s a golddigger, adding, “He has so much to offer and although some will probably immediately think I’m referring to money cause a girl obviously is incapable of providing for herself according to some of you. I mean his personality, caring nature and everything he worked so hard to accomplish.”
Daisy also reiterated Jake’s comment about the divorce. “We are all on good terms and I don’t want anyone bashing Jake or Jenna on my socials,” she concluded.
