Clarkson’s Farm stars step in to back Great British Beef Week 2026 as The Farmer’s Dog joins the push

Clarkson’s Farm stars will join forces to promote British beef during a week-long annual celebration.

Great British Beef Week, which takes place between 23rd and 30th April, will shine a light on the vital role of farm shops and local butchers in bringing naturally delicious British beef to tables across the UK.

Created by Ladies in Beef, in partnership with AHDB, the nationwide campaign champions the local supply chain behind British beef – from the farmers who produce it to the butchers, farm shops and retailers who supply it.

The focus is on quality, provenance and the people who help ensure naturally delicious British beef stays on our plates.

This year’s focus comes at a time when consumer demand for British food remains strong.

Consumers buying red meat from a butcher claim to do so because they want to buy British (36%), want to support local businesses (59%) and think it is good value (32%).

Campaign supporters
The 2026 campaign has attracted several high-profile supporters, including stars of Clarkson’s Farm, Adam Henson and Minette Batters.

The Great British Beef Week is also partnering with Jeremy Clarkson’s The Farmer’s Dog pub to showcase its naturally delicious British beef, sourced from local farmers.

The campaign will be brought to life through social media content featuring Kaleb Cooper, consultant and TV celebrity Charlie Ireland, operations manager Annie Gray, head chef Max D’Amario, head chef at The Farmer’s Puppy Jason Hall, and head butcher Charlotte Kingham, highlighting their dedication to locally sourced beef.

Charlotte Kingham said: “Great British Beef Week is a fantastic opportunity to showcase British farmers and the local supply chains that bring their produce to our counters.”

Jilly Greed, Devon beef farmer and co-founder of the Ladies in Beef group, added: “It’s all about championing our trusted local supply chains, the family farms, farm shops and butchers that work together to deliver top-quality British beef to communities.

“When people buy local, they’re supporting British farmers who care deeply about quality and the environment.”
